Complete with all of the necessary installation hardware. Available with or without high-performance Flowmaster mufflers. Fits 1964-72 Chevelle. Mandrel-bent pipes keep the exhaust gasses moving for greater power. These are precision-bent, slip-fit pipes for A-Bodies and they come with an H-pipe crossover, but no clamps. You have to use offset inlet/outlet mufflers for the pipes to fit properly. The stainless construction of our pipes and mufflers enables them to resist corrosion and extends the life of the system. Each kit comes with a precisely engineered X-pipe to equalize exhaust gasses prior to entering the mufflers. All kits are available with a standard X, while others are offered with the exclusive X-change which features additional outlets giving you the option to run your exhaust through mufflers, or uncap the legs for an open system. Cad plated or stainless clamps, stainless hangers and polished stainless tips are available and included in most systems. Available in natural stainless or polished T304 stainless. When it comes to flow, you just can't get anything better than the Race Pro Muffler. Features a 'straight through' path that guarantees throughput that's 99% of straight tubing! The sound is surprisingly calm considering the absence of any impedance when you look down its barrel. At idle and low rpm cruising, you will not draw much attention, but upon acceleration, bystanders lookout! The Race Pros aggressive sound is the result of applying a layer of stainless mesh around a unique internal perforated tube, accompanied by a healthy stuffing of rock wool before the unit is sealed. Highly recommended for the track where every 1/10th counts. Not recommended on lower horsepower vehicles as low end torque may suffer. Race Pro mufflers are available in 14" or the quieter 18" version. 16 gauge, mandrel-bent, stainless steel pipe ensures maximum exhaust gas flow. Our mufflers, H-pipe, oem style stainless tailpipes, are also stainless constructed and precision matched to deliver the ultimate in sound and performance. These systems can be installed at home without any special tools. Some cutting may be required. The Street Pro muffler is great for street/strip use and will maintain its rich sound qualities for the life of the muffler. Based on a chambered type muffler the Street Pro muffler is recommended for stock to medium modified vehicles looking for an aggressive sound but not too noticeable. Next, the Race Pro muffler provides the greatest flow out of any muffler in the Pypes line. The Race Pro features a straight through design wrapped with packing to give you a great sound while still giving the performance of a straight through muffler. The sound is calm at idle and low RPM cruising, but open the throttle and the sound is unleashed! Lastly, the Violator muffler provides the most aggressive sound out of any muffler in the Pypes line. It features a 3" internal louvered tube with small sound deflector chambers to achieve the aggressive sound. The sound at idle is unique, but once the throttle is opened, the exhaust becomes incredibly loud and noticeable.
